Mastercard International Incorporated, its affiliates and other entities within the Mastercard’s group of companies (“Mastercard”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respect your privacy.

This Privacy Notice applies to the processing of Personal Information collected in the context of Mastercard’s Priceless Events platform (the “Platform”). This Privacy Notice does not cover the collection and use of your Personal Information by Mastercard in the context of other programs, by third parties on other Mastercard branded websites, by your Mastercard Card issuers (e.g., your bank), or any other information or communications that may reference Mastercard outside of the Platform.
 
This Privacy Notice describes the types of Personal Information we collect in connection with the Platform, the purposes for which we collect that Personal Information, the other parties, including Suppliers of transportation, hotel and other travel-related services (“Suppliers”), with whom we may share it and the measures we take to protect the security of the data. It also tells you about your rights and choices with respect to your Personal Information, and how you can reach us to update your contact information or get answers to questions you may have about our privacy practices.

As described in this Privacy Notice, we may act as a data controller in connection with the Platform.

Your registration to access or attend events (each an “Event”) through this Platform is subject to this Privacy Notice and to our Terms and Conditions.   1. Personal Information We May Collect

    We may collect the following Personal Information:  

    • Registration information, contact details and other information to facilitate your Event attendance such as a passport or other government issued ID number.
    • Event preferences including hotel stay and travel.
    • Any other content or information you provide in connection with the Platform.
    • Information related to your use of the Platform collected via cookies and other technologies.
  2. How We May Use Your Personal Information

    We may use your Personal Information to:  

    • Provide, improve and develop the Platform.
    • Communicate with you.
    • Provide you with tailored content.
    • Send you marketing materials.
    • Announce your name publicly in your capacity as a winner or participant in the Event.
    • Promote the Event and our brand, products, and services.
    • Protect against fraud and ensure safety and security.
    • Assist third parties in the provision of products or services that you request from third parties.
    • Perform data analysis.
    • Enforce our Terms and Conditions.
    • Comply with our legal obligations.
  3. How We Share Your Personal Information

    We may share Personal Information with:

    • Mastercard’s headquarters in the U.S., our affiliates and other entities within Mastercard’s group of companies.
    • Suppliers and other third parties for the fulfillment of your event package or otherwise required to provide the services to you in connection with the Event.
    • Mastercard customers, which may include your issuing bank or a merchant, if you registered for an Event on the Platform in connection with a program offered by a Mastercard customer.
    • Other Event participants or Platform users in connection with the Event and through the user interaction functionalities within the Platform
    • Our service providers acting on our behalf, including for the purposes of managing the Platform.
    • Third parties in the event of a sale or transfer (including any proposed sale or transfer) of our business or assets, or for other lawful purposes.
  4. Your Rights and Choices

    Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

    • Access your Personal Information, rectify it, restrict or object to its processing, or request its deletion.
    • Receive the Personal Information you provided to us to transmit it to another company.
    • Withdraw any consent provided.
    • Where applicable, lodge a complaint with your Supervisory Authority.

  5. How We Protect Your Personal Information

    We maintain appropriate security safeguards to protect your Personal Information and only retain it for a limited period of time.

    We may transfer your Personal Information to recipients in countries other than your country, including to the United States, in compliance with our Binding Corporate Rules and other data transfer mechanisms.

    You may choose to use certain features for which we partner with other entities that operate independently from Mastercard.

    This Privacy Notice may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our privacy practices.
